State of Decay 3 Redeem Codes: Current Status
State of Decay 3 redeem codes do not exist in any official form right now. The game has not launched, Undead Labs has not published a code redemption interface, and no verified bonus codes, promo codes, or reward codes have been distributed through official channels. This page exists to give you an honest status report and to point you toward every legitimate way to gain early access or savings.
Video Highlights — the official gameplay reveal is the best reference for what the game currently offers:
- Open-world zombie survival with community management
- Base construction and settlement expansion
- Up to four-player co-op in a shared world
- Planned launch on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Steam
Here is the verified status of every code category players typically search for:
| Code Type | Current Status | Official Source |
|---|---|---|
| Reward / bonus codes | Not available | No redemption system announced |
| Promo / discount codes | Not available | Game not yet purchasable in final form |
| Playtest access codes | Invite-only, by registration | Official playtest page |
| Game Pass codes | Planned day-one support | Xbox official page |
| Community giveaway codes | Not available | No official Discord/X code drops confirmed |
Sites listing "active State of Decay 3 codes" with entries like welcome bonuses or tiered reward tables are fabricating content for clicks. Never enter your Xbox, Steam, or email credentials on a third-party page that promises codes for an unreleased game.
How to Get Legitimate Early Access
Because codes are not part of the picture, the playtest pipeline is the one genuine route to play State of Decay 3 before release. Follow these steps exactly as the official process describes them.
Visit the Official Playtest Page
Go to the official sign-up portal at playtest.stateofdecay.com. This is the only registration endpoint referenced by the official playtest announcement.
Register Your Interest
Complete the sign-up form with accurate account details. Selection is handled by the development team, and invitations arrive through official channels only.
Watch Official Channels for Invites
Monitor the official State of Decay site and verified Xbox news posts for playtest waves and announcements.
Prepare for Launch Through Game Pass
If you are not selected, plan around day-one Xbox Game Pass availability on supported Xbox and PC plans, confirmed on the Xbox game page.
Playtest invitations are never distributed as public "codes" on social media. If you see a post sharing a working code string, treat it as fake by default and verify against the official site before clicking anything.
